Concierge Medicine & The Practice
Concierge medicine is a model of care where patients pay a membership fee for direct, ongoing access to their provider. At Platinum Medical Club, this means same-day or next-day appointments, extended visit times, direct communication with Kathrine Hardy via phone, text, or email, and a provider who knows your full history and stays genuinely invested in your outcomes — rather than seeing you for seven minutes and moving on.
Traditional primary care averages 7–15 minutes per appointment and limits how often you can be seen. At PMC, visits are unhurried and extended. We have time to investigate root causes, review your full history, and build a personalized plan — not just treat the immediate symptom and send you on your way. Our concierge model means your provider is accessible, not just available.
PMC is right for anyone who feels frustrated by rushed appointments, has been told their labs are "normal" while continuing to feel unwell, or wants a provider who will take the time to listen and investigate. We serve individuals, families, and employers across a wide range of health concerns — from hormone optimization and weight management to preventive care and DOT physicals.
Yes. We are currently accepting new patients both in-person in Anchorage, Alaska and via telehealth in Alaska and Arizona. Book a visit through our patient portal to get started.
We are located at 401 E 36th Ave, Suite 101, Anchorage, AK 99503. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10am–6pm. Telehealth appointments are available for patients in Alaska and Arizona.
Yes. Approximately 50% of our visits are conducted via telehealth. We currently serve telehealth patients in Alaska and Arizona. Telehealth visits are available for hormone follow-ups, weight management, wellness consultations, chronic disease follow-up, and medication management.
Accepting insurance requires us to see high volumes of patients in short appointment windows to cover administrative costs — which is the opposite of what concierge medicine is designed to do. By operating as a cash-pay practice, we can limit our patient panel, spend real time with each person, and focus entirely on your care rather than insurance billing requirements. We provide a superbill for every visit so you can submit for reimbursement through your insurance carrier or health sharing plan. For many patients, the out-of-pocket cost is comparable to or less than what they'd pay in copays, deductibles, and specialist fees under traditional insurance — with significantly better access and outcomes.
Memberships & Pricing
Membership at PMC gives you direct, ongoing access to your provider for a flat monthly fee. Each tier includes a set number of visits, messaging allowances, prescription management, lab orders, referrals, and wellness coaching. Memberships are billed monthly and can be discussed with our team to find the right fit for your needs.
The Gold membership ($200/month) includes one annual physical exam, four acute sick or health visits, two wellness coaching visits, five messages per month, lab orders, prescription management, specialty referrals, and four second opinion or treatment collaboration conversations annually.
The Platinum membership ($500/month) includes one annual physical exam, six acute sick or health visits, four wellness coaching visits, ten messages per month, lab orders, non-controlled and chronic prescription management, specialty referrals, and six second opinion or treatment collaboration conversations annually.
The Platinum Plus membership ($1,000/month) is our most comprehensive tier, offering priority access via personal phone, text, or email, expanded pharmaceutical management, bi-quarterly wellness strategy sessions, extended appointment times, and VIP-level care coordination. Contact us for the full list of inclusions.
Yes. À la carte visits are available without a membership. Pricing ranges from $90 to $300 per visit depending on the type of visit. A la carte options include history and physicals ($300), wellness and weight loss visits ($250), hormone consultations ($250), DOT physicals ($175), sports physicals ($90), limited healthcare visits ($175), and standard healthcare visits ($200).
PMC is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. However, we provide a superbill for all services, which you can submit to your insurance carrier or health sharing plan — including Christian health sharing ministries such as Medi-Share and others — for potential reimbursement.
Yes. We provide a superbill for all services that can be submitted to Christian health sharing plans including Medi-Share and other health sharing ministries for potential reimbursement. We are happy to discuss how this works during your first visit.
First visit costs typically range from $250–$500 depending on your concerns and the type of evaluation needed. We discuss all costs before treatment begins with no surprise fees.
Hormone Optimization & BHRT
BHRT uses hormones that are chemically identical to those your body produces naturally. At PMC, we use BHRT as one tool within a comprehensive approach — evaluating thyroid health, metabolism, nutrition, sleep, stress, and lifestyle factors alongside hormone levels to restore energy, vitality, and long-term wellness.
Candidacy depends on your medical history, risk factors, symptoms, and laboratory results. We perform a thorough evaluation before any treatment begins to ensure hormone therapy is both safe and appropriate for you. Not everyone is a candidate — we will always be honest about what we find.
Yes — this is one of the most common situations we see. "Normal" lab ranges are broad averages, not optimal ranges. We look at your full picture — symptoms, history, lifestyle, and comprehensive testing — to find what traditional evaluations may have missed.
Many patients notice improvements within 2–6 weeks, with continued benefits over the following 3–6 months as hormone balance and overall health are optimized.
Not necessarily. This depends on your individual situation, goals, and the underlying causes driving your symptoms. We monitor your progress regularly and adjust treatment over time based on how you are responding.
Yes. Appropriate laboratory testing is completed before treatment begins to ensure safe, personalized, and effective care.
Weight Management
Yes. For appropriate candidates, we prescribe both semaglutide and tirzepatide as part of a comprehensive weight management program that also includes nutrition counseling, lifestyle coaching, metabolic health evaluation, and ongoing accountability.
Semaglutide is $500 per 4mL vial (400 units). Tirzepatide is $925 per 4mL vial (400 units). Depending on your starting weight, goals, and dosage requirements, a vial may last several weeks to several months. We review all costs during your consultation and build a plan designed for safe, sustainable results.
Most patients lose an average of 1.5–2 pounds per week when combining medication with nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes. Results vary based on individual factors and adherence to the treatment plan. Our goal is not just weight loss — it is sustainable metabolic health and lasting lifestyle change.
No. Medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide are effective tools, but lasting results come from combining medical treatment with nutrition, lifestyle, and metabolic health support. Every plan is personalized to your needs and goals.
DOT Physicals
A DOT (Department of Transportation) physical is a medical examination required for commercial motor vehicle drivers. It evaluates vision, hearing, blood pressure, and overall health to ensure drivers meet federal safety standards for operating commercial vehicles.
DOT physicals are $175 per exam. Group rates are available for fleets and employers — contact us to discuss employer or fleet pricing.
DOT physicals at PMC are designed to be efficient with minimal wait times. Most exams are completed in under an hour.
Yes. We work with individual drivers and companies to provide DOT physicals with group rates available for fleets. Contact us to establish an ongoing employer relationship.
Supplements & Nutrition
No. Supplements are available through our Fullscript dispensary without an appointment. We carry and recommend Thorne and Pure Encapsulations — two of the most trusted professional-grade supplement brands available.
Recommendations are based on your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, medications, goals, and laboratory results when available. We look for patterns that may suggest nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, or other root causes — and build a targeted, personalized plan rather than recommending large numbers of supplements.
Most supplement protocols range from $50–$200 depending on your individual needs. Many patients find that addressing root causes keeps supplement plans simpler and more affordable than they expected.
